Wilma Jeanette Glass passed away on July 23, 2024, in Bellingham, Washington at the age of 90. Born on July 7, 1934, in Arkansas City, Kansas.
Jeanette met the love of her life, Bill Glass, at his family’s roller skating rink in Winfield, Kansas, and they married soon after. She dedicated her life to her family as a devoted wife and homemaker. Jeanette and Bill enjoyed traveling through Europe, where they visited many countries and took several river cruises. She cherished the time spent at their cabin on the Naches River, and spending winters as a snowbird in Yuma, Arizona.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Peggy Paxton, Coni Turner (David), and Scott Glass (Samantha). She was a proud grandmother to Alec Paxton, Matt Paxton (Alysia), Levi Campbell and Cade Glass, and was a great-grandmother to Abigail Paxton, Mackenzie Paxton, and Billie Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Glass, parents, Tess and Pauline Giles; her sister, Juanita Goatly; her brother, David Giles; and her son-in-law, Brian Paxton.
Arrangements for Jeanette are being handled by Sig’s Funeral Services in Bellingham, WA. Her life will be remembered and celebrated by those she loved and who loved her in return.
