Virginia Claire Stone

Virginia “Ginny” Claire Stone passed away, February 26, 2015, at her home in Everson, WA at the age of 86.  She had been battling diabetes for over 45 years and was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.

Ginny was born to George and Hannah Fosmo on February 3, 1929 in Bellingham, WA.  She married Robert “Rob” Stone on September 30, 1949, the two sharing 65 beautiful years together.  Ginny spent her life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and joyously dedicated herself to preaching and teaching the word of God.

She was also very passionate about her family, delighting in loving and laughing with them and creating memories that she cherished to the end.  Ginny was quite gifted musically, having a great love for singing and especially for playing the piano.  During her younger years, she and Bob could often be found playing and singing at weddings and other gatherings.

Ginny is survived and will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Bob, her three children, Teri (Mark) Johnson, Brad (Vicki) Stone, Shelli (Jeff) North, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angela.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a memorial service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8075 Goodwin Road, Everson, WA, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
