Veryl H. Reamer

Veryl H. Reamer, age 74, of Bellingham went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Bellingham.  He was born November 24, 1940 to parents Earl Herbert and Lynne Rosland (Ewing) Reamer in Bellingham.  He graduated from Mount Baker High School in 1959.   Veryl married the love of his life Karen Noreen Wiley, on September 28, 1962 in Sumas, Washington.  In 1966 he was drafted into the US Army serving his country in Vietnam, receiving a Purple Heart, and finishing his service as a Sergeant.

 He worked for Bellingham Cold Storage for 34 years, was a life-long member of Rome Community Bible Church.  He was active in the Street Deacons Car Club and enjoyed restoring old cars.  Veryl was preceded in death by his father, Earl, and grandson, Braden.  He is survived by his wife Karen, of 52 years; son, Brent Reamer, wife Sheri; daughter, Debra Reamer; grandchildren, Courtney and Grant Reamer; his mother, Lynn Reamer; siblings, Ray Reamer, wife Linda; Vaila Powell, husband Ray; Karla Krauss, husband Floyd;  special friends, David and Gwen Applington, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 1:00 PM at Rome Community Bible Church, 2720 Mt. Baker Hwy, Bellingham, WA 98226 with Pastor Scott Lidbeck officiating.  Private family graveside with Military Honors will be held at Greenacres Cemetery.
