Timothy Michael Elenbaas

Timothy Michael Elenbaas of Lynden, WA, passed away on November 16, 2020, in Ferndale, WA. Tim was 37 years old and was born in Bellingham, WA, on May 15, 1983, to Melissa (Edwards) and Richard Elenbaas.  A thoughtful, caring son and brother with a strong work ethic, he took pride in his work and did it very well, no matter the task. Tim overcame numerous personal obstacles to live a life that brought joy to his family, friends, and coworkers. A talented athlete whose abilities were apparent from the age of two, Tim was an avid snowboarder and skateboarder and could often be found on Mt. Baker all throughout the snow season. Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Elenbaas, and her fiance, Denton Hendricks. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Melissa Elenbaas, two sisters, Lucy Elenbaas and Emily Schaaf, two nephews, Milo and Homer Rouse, his beloved cat Cornelia, and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10, at 2:00 pm at New Song Church in Bellingham, WA.
