Stella (Moo) Jordan

Stella “Moo” Jordan, age 87, of Bellingham passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Bellingham.   She was born in King County and as a young adult moved to Bellingham and spent countless hours with Ray and Ruby Haan. Then went onto raise her family which were her pride and joy. She was affectionately known as “Mamoo” by her granddaughter Tiffany which was changed to “Moo” by her great granddaughter Tylor, which is how we all know her today.  Stella was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jordan in Oct. of 2011, her son Michael Green, her twin sister Patricia Sinclair and her sister Janet Green.  She is survived by her daughters Karen (Jay) Smith, Linda (Greg) Peterson and daughter In-law Toni Beck Green; Step-children Raymond (Rona) Jordan, Beckie (Buck) Breakey, Jeannie (Greg) Potter and Katie (Mike) Zowada; Grandchildren, Greg and Brent Peterson, Tiffany Arnett, Melissa Glaves, Jason Smith, Nicole Verduin, Michael Green, Conrad and Gideon Jordan, Andy, Buddy and Caleb Breakey, Nicole Borngrebe and Lindsay and Taryn Potter; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, 10:00 AM at Greenacres Cemetery, Ferndale followed by a Memorial Gathering Reception from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at Sig’s Funeral Services, 809 W. Orchard Drive, Suite #3, Bellingham, WA 98225. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial remembrances be made to St. Francis, 3121 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham, WA 98225.
