Shelly Ann Polinder

Shelly Ann Polinder, age 56, of Ferndale passed away at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Hospital, Wednesday June 23, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Bellingham, WA June 24, 1964 to Alroy Marvin and Susie (Ashe) Polinder.

Shelly has lived the majority of her life in the Birch Bay area where she enjoyed the scenic views, gardening, the wildlife, hanging out with her friends, grandchildren and two dogs Shakira and Gizmo.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father Alroy in (2000) and brother Marvin in (2020). She is survived by her two children, Christopher (Liz) Polinder and Kristi Johnston; grandchildren, Nicole Polinder, Avah LaRiviere, Jason Neyens, Iris Polinder and Kaylee Wirts; great grandson Oliver LaRiviere;  her mother Susie Polinder; siblings, Peggy (Don) Partlow, Laurie Les) Arrance, Rhonda Polinder (Michael) and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Our family will have a Celebration of Life at the family home, July 10, 2021, 2:00 PM, 2094 Aldergrove Road, Ferndale, WA where we will cherish the many amazing memories – she will be in our hearts forever.
