Russell Jerome Miller

Russell Jerome Miller, of Custer, WA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 28, 2015, to an eight year battle to cancer and always maintained a positive attitude. He was born in Everett, Washington to parents Judith and Francis “Frank” Miller, on October 24, 1966. Russell was a 1986 graduate of Ferndale High School and beloved husband, father, brother, son & friend.  

He worked at Samson for 28 years and was the Project Mechanic for the last 18.  Russell loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, fishing, numerous hobbies, and had an amazing talent for designing/ building things.   

Russell is preceded in death by his grandparents Clyde & Erma Myers of Spokane, WA; Roland & Lillian Miller of Everett, WA. 

Russell is survived by wife Tasha Miller of 17 ½ years, their two sons Damian & Devin Miller; mother, Judith Miller; father Francis “Frank” Miller; parents- in-law, Allan and Lorraine Harris; his brother, Ronald (Kelli) Miller. Sisters-in-law: Janet (Richard) Roebuck, Juline (Michael) Marriott, and Jeanette Hill; and brothers-in-law: David (Patti) Foster, and Joel (Cynthia) Harris. Numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.  He will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, 2480 West Badger Road, Custer, WA 98240, at 11:00am on Saturday March 14, 2015.
