Robert Lee Bonner

Robert Lee Bonner passed away in Bellingham, Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 86 years.  Robert was born to parents George Stanley and Georgia Viola (Carlson) Bonner on July 10, 1936 in Bellingham, Washington.  He grew up in Whatcom County and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1956 where he played high school baseball, football and was on the swimming team.

Robert married Joyce Gustafson and together they had two children Kathryn and Steven Bonner.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Georgia Bonner and his son Steven Bonner and his former wife Joyce.  Robert is survived by his daughter Kathryn and husband Keith Lynch and granddaughter Keeley.  Robert is also survived by Steven’s son Tyler, his brother Denny Bonner and wife Sherry.  His cousin Ken Carlson and wife Darlene and numerous other family members. 

A memorial service is being planned for the Spring of 2023.
