Rebecca Lynn Curtis

November 30, 1950 — December 6, 2024

Bellingham

Rebecca Lynn Curtis (Jordan), better known as Becky, went home peacefully to Heaven on December 6th, 2024. Becky was born to James and Kathy Jordan ( preceded in death) in Bellingham WA on November 30th, 1950. Becky grew up on the family farm on Smith Rd in Bellingham with her brother and three sisters. She graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 1968 and held various jobs afterwards. But the job she talked most about was her time flagging for Wilder Construction. She worked hard to provide for her only son, Heath, born in September of 1980. After dealing with some life difficulties and hardships of being a single mother and doing the best she could with what life handed her, she eventually met and married on April 22nd, 1994 the love of her life and best friend Jim Curtis. They remained together until Jim's passing in November of 2018. They loved taking drives, going to hunting camp and attending church together. She was a very devout, faithful Christian that always had a smile and a prayer for anyone that may need it. She was a loving lady that enjoyed bright colors, big hugs, shopping, thrifting and giving. She was always on the go, meeting friends for lunch, getting her nails done and walking the mall. She was a beautiful soul that loved whole heartedly. She would do anything to help, but loved helping with babies and children as she saw each one as a gift from God. And this especially included her only granddaughter Annya, whom she adored. She loved and lived by her faith.

Becky is survived by her son, Heath Edin. He has been deployed for the last 10 months in the US army. She was so incredibly proud of him and his sacrifice to our country. Her daughter in law Sandy. Granddaughter and light of her life Annya Marie. Brother Mark Jordan and sister in law Sharon, sisters Dana Mauer, Roxie Jordan and Jamie Rosenberg and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private graveside burial was held on December 16th. A memorial in her honor will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 3pm at Calvary Chapel Northwest located at 6015 Guide Meridian, Bellingham WA 98226. A reception with cookies and beverages will be held courtesy of Calvary Chapel immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a small donation to Calvary Chapel as this would have made Becky very happy.
