Preben "Peter" Wilhelmsen

Preben “Peter” Wilhelmsen, age 80, passed away Friday, June 2023 in Bellingham.

Peter immigrated to Vancouver, BC in 1962 from Copenhagen, Denmark.  He retired from his career work as Company Credit Manager for a family owned Company well known on the west coast of Canada called Woodward Stores with locations in BC and Alberta.

He was preceded in death by his father Vagn, mother Erna, step mother Gerda, first wife Cheryl, daughter Kim, Aunt Faster and step daughter Lorinda. Peter is survived by his second wife Victoria, son Christian and step son Aaron.

 A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 5904 Vista Dr., Ferndale, WA 98248 at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 17, 2023 with a reception to follow in the Church Fellowship Hall.

 In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Hospice House in Bellingham at 2806 Douglas Road, Bellingham, WA 98225.
