Pat (Patricia)Wyckoff of Bellingham passed away after a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s on March 28, a few days short of her 80th birthday. Pat was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on April 2nd, 1940 to Mark and Ione Lunsford. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 2005. She is survived by her four children, Debbie (Kris) Jeff (Hilary) Cathy (Patti) and Steve. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Keri and Kevin Knudsen, Michael, Aaron, Luke, Thomas, Marcus and Cyrus Wyckoff as well as 7 great-grandchildren. Pat spent most of her life in West Seattle, graduating from West Seattle High school class of 1958. She always enjoyed learning and encouraged trying new things.
She was a stay at home mom before going to school to become a medical assistant. Later she worked as an Administrative assistant at Ernst, Safeco insurance, and a bail bond company.
With Larry, she enjoyed traveling, hiking, golf, reading, card games, and of course, her family. In retirement, they lived in Arizona. She will be remembered as a loving lady, mom, and grandmother with a huge heart, a good sense of humor, and great determination. She was a 30 plus year breast cancer survivor.
Pat is no longer suffering from the terrible disease that robbed her of memories and cognitive abilities.
