Nancy Jean Kreps

After an almost two year battle with MDS and AML, Nancy Jean Kreps passed away on January 8, 2025. She was born in West Los Angeles, California on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1940, to parents Roscoe and Jean Stroud. She is survived by her Husband David of almost 48 years, two children; Robin (Doug) Smith, and Eric (Kelly) Slagle, and three step-children; Terri (Steve) Glover, Greg (Vicki) Kreps, and Steve (Tracy) Kreps. She is also survived by two sisters; Donna (Don) Starr, and Gail (Rick) Morse. She has 19 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She spent several years teaching in elementary school, and was a drug counselor for the Orange County, California School system. She and her family moved to Washington in 1978 and lived in Oak Harbor for eight years, eventually moving to Whatcom County in 1986. She will be remembered for her loving servant’s heart.  A Celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, 2:00pm at Victory Christian Fellowship, 300 7th Street, Lynden, WA 98264.
