Michael Nelson Bon

Michael Nelson Bon, age 63, of Oak Harbor, passed away in Bellingham at the Whatcom Hospice House, Monday, January 28, 2013.

He was born November 15, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Nelson George and Dorothy Mary (Hemminger) Bon. Michael retired from the U.S. Navy attaining the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, 12:00 PM at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 185 N. Oak Harbor St., Oak Harbor, WA 98277 with Rev. Philip Raether, Pastor officiating. Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at Enterprise Cemetery, Ferndale, WA at a later date.
