Mavis A. Allen

Mavis Allen, age 85, of Bellingham, beloved twin sister of Muriel (Allen) Ellis passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 to her new home in heaven, joining special family up there.  Many thanks to the loving, caring staff at North Cascades Health & Rehabilitation Center of Bellingham, and to her wonderful Pastor Douglas Iben of Trinity Lutheran Church of Bellingham where all were so welcoming. She will never be forgotten by the family of Alice Allen and children, Terry Allen and children, nephew Douglas Davey, and of course Muriel and Dennis Ellis. Also friends so special as Gene and Leah, Tom and Susan, Jim and Patsy, Aunt Mary and many others. Special cards, flowers and visiting were so loved. A spoken memorial was given at her church on Sunday.
