Mary Elizabeth Doubt

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sweet wife, friend and teacher for many years in the Custer and Ferndale Schools, Mary Elizabeth (Orr) Doubt, age 97, passed from this life to be with the Lord Jesus and the many loved ones who have gone before, on Sunday Sept. 14th, 2014 in Lynden. Mary was born on a homestead near Truax, Saskatchewan to Claude Rangley and Fannie Belle Harrop Orr. They moved to Custer, Washington three or four years later. In addition to wife and mother, she was a creative artist & musician, using her lovely soprano voice to bless many through the years, a serious student of the Bible and sharer of her Christian faith. Preceded in death by husband Ray; daughter Janice Wilson; and a great-grandson her parents and brother Dean Orr. She is survived by daughters Susan French, Carol Erickson, Dorothy Hougan and Kathy Mader; son-in-laws; 17 grand-children and 14 great-grandchildren. We will be sharing memories together of her life this Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Community Church, 6899 Enterprise Rd, Ferndale, WA 98248 with Pastor Steve Van Vleck officiating. Interment Enterprise Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Evergreen Community Church.
