Marcus Anthony Figueroa

Marcus Anthony Figueroa, age 21, passed away unexpectedly Sunday June  24, 2018.  He was born on November 7, 1996 in Bellingham, WA.  He attended school in Deming, graduating from Mt. Baker High School.    Marcus was athletic, playing baseball, football, wrestling and basketball in his youth.  He was an avid sports fan.  Marcus enjoyed camping trips with family and friends.  He attended Rome Church and North Lake Community Church with his family and was involved in Awana. Marcus was a beloved son, brother, and uncle, leaving us all too soon. He was a vibrant personality and will be missed by all who knew him.  While we wish Marcus’s time with us had been longer, we are secure in the knowledge that he is in a better place in God’s care. Marcus is survived by his parents, David & Lisa Figueroa; brothers David, Jr., Vincent and Lucas; nephew Anthony; grandparents Juan, Sr. and Noemi Badillo all of Whatcom County.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Deming Log Show Grounds, 3295 Cedarville, Rd., Bellingham, WA 98226.
