Kyran P. “Phil” Kane, age 82, of Everson passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Bellingham, Washington with his wife at his side. Phil was born August 22, 1933 to Kyran Francis and Rose Terigard Kane in Muskegon, Michigan. He was a resident of Whatcom County for over 43 years. Phil married the love of his life Linda L. Graham in Kodiak, Alaska. He retired from the US Coast Guard after 20 years of services, from the North Pole, to Alaska and the Oregon Coast. He was an Electrician in Sumas and worked for Arco Cherry Point Refinery in the INE Shop and most recent Owned, Operated and Installed Central Vacuum Systems. He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence Kane who also was in the US Coast Guard, daughter, Ann Marie Kane, sisters Margaret Mary Matties, Rosemary Kane and Maryanne Hansen. Phil is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Linda L. Kane; sister, Eckterine Hanslits and husband Joseph; brother, Edward Kane and wife Darlene; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A service will be held in Muskegon, Michigan in June. Memorial contributions may be made to
