Jannette Harriet Burnett

Janette H. Burnett, age 98, of Bellingham, Washington, was born October 4, 1924 in Skagit County, Washington. She peacefully passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Bellingham, WA.

Janette loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved her flowers, gardening and building her home with her late father, Harry Johnson.  She also enjoyed camping and vacations, cake decorating, sewing, making beautiful formals, and arts and crafts.  Janette was an active member of the Maple Leaf Chapter of Eastern Star in Ferndale.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Edward and Elizabeth Martha (Beyers) Johnson, brothers Edward Johnson and Howard Johnson, sisters Dorothy, Phyllis, Mildred, Arlene and Gertrude, and her husband John Burnett and son Mike Robey Sr.

Janette is survived by her daughter Julie Burnett of Bellingham, granddaughter Juliana Eschen, grandson Jordan Burnett, and great-granddaughter Serenoty.

Granddaughter Brittany Burnett Leenstra (husband James) and great grandchildren Brooke, Ryder, Ezra, and Avery of Ferndale.

Grandson Mike Robey Jr. (wife Michelle) and son Kolby, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a wonderful neighbor and friend Becky Nelson.
