James E. Evans

Jim E. Evans, age 60, passed away suddenly in his home in Bellingham, Monday, September 22, 2014.

Jim was born in Norwalk, Los Angeles County, California and raised in the Washington area. 

Jim is survived by his two children, Jeremy and Breanna; his mother Pauline; his brother Bruce; and his two sisters, Diane and her husband John and Sharon and her husband Wally; his four nephews Todd, Eric, Tom and Ben.

Of his many accomplishments, Jim found great joy in playing his guitar, watching movies, listening to music, being with family and friends but most of all he loved his kids and family.  Jim was an exceptional chief, he made is living cooking.  Before Jim was disabled you would catch him working out in the gym.  In his early years you would catch him skip roping around Green Lake in Seattle, he enjoyed working out.

Jim was a free spirit, who loved life.  If you were with Jim you were having fun, his constant smile, sense of humor and laugh was contagious.  Jim is gone but he will be forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday November 2, 2014, at Sig’s Funeral Services, 809 W. Orchard Drive, Bellingham.
