I Chen Joyce Cheng

Joyce Cheng, a fun, loving, thoughtful and creative individual to all who knew her passed away at the age of 40 on April 3, 2015 in Bellingham, WA, with her family by her side.  Joyce was a beloved daughter, daughter-in-law, wife, mother, sister-in-law, cousin, friend and colleague.  She was born in Taiwan and lived in several cities in Canada and the United States.  She was educated in all three countries and obtained her MBA and a MA degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Northwestern University.  Joyce was a world traveller and a creative entrepreneur.  She desired for everyone to enjoy each other and the foods of the world.  She believed in being kind to the planet and to those we meet so as to nurture and sustain the beautiful environment and relationships that she embraced in life. 

Joyce is survived by her husband of 13 years, Joe Lin, son Ethan Lin, father Chin-Fa Cheng, father and mother in-laws, sister and brother in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and best friends in different parts of the world.  She joins her dear mother, Mei Chiao Hong. 

As per Joyce’s wish, she took an active role in both a celebration of her life and an early birthday celebration for her beloved 8 year old son with family and friends on March 29, 2015.  A private family ceremony will take place on April 9, 2015 to bid final farewell.  The family thanks all who Joyce had the privilege to know and appreciates your comments on this website.  They kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the local hospice center, cancer care center, or nursing care center of your choice.

鄭伊真，生於西元1975年1月15日，在家人的陪伴下於西元2015年4月3日在美國的華盛頓州仙逝，享年四十歲。

對熟悉伊真的人而言，她是一位有愛心,體貼以及芳趣‎的女性。她不僅是一位賢妻良母，同時也是一位同事尊重和朋友欣賞的好夥伴。她出生成長於寶島的台灣亦曾留學於美國與加拿大，並取得工商管理(MBA)以及MA的碩士學位，並擅長與整合行銷傳播。伊真是位多才藝另據創造性的企業家，也是我們尊重的慈善家。她喜愛旅遊及品嚐世界各地的異地食物，與了解一些的不同文化，更是個有福必同享的人。她深信善待這個美麗的地球，讓後代能同樂。

臨終時隨待在旁有他結縭13載的良夫和長子，父親，表姊們，姪子們和好友。今他將離我們遠去與他親愛的母親相隨於永恆‎。

按伊真的心願，她與家人和眾親朋好友在3月29日提早慶祝並完成了他最後的心願－為他親愛的八歲長子慶生‎，亦快樂與圓滿的達成了這短暫而美麗的人生。

私人的家庭最後告別儀式將在4月9日舉行，他的家人在此感謝所有認識伊真的親朋好友‎，懇請不要花錢送鮮花，如為悼念請在網路上留下懷念她的話。
