Everson

Henry “Hank” Tjoelker went to be with Jesus on June 19th, 2024. Henry was born August 25th, 1938 in Everson, WA to Peter and Anna Tjoelker. He was one of 9 children. Henry grew up and worked on his family farm. He was drafted into the US Army in 1963 and served as a Specialist fourth class. He was stationed in Munich, Germany for two years. After the Army Henry milked cows and raised replacement heifers for dairy farms in Whatcom County. In 1975, he married the love of his life Eleanor, who celebrated 49 years of marriage this April. Together they raised four kids, Brian, Alvin, Heidi (Married to Courtney) and Matthew on the family farm. In his spare time, Henry loved to work in his shop creating beautiful woodwork and other projects that he often donated to local charity auctions to support causes that he believed in. One of his favorite causes to donate his woodwork to was Child Evangelist Fellowship. He will be remembered by his family for his incredible work ethic and his generosity to others. Henry is survived by his wife, four children and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations and memorials be sent to Child Evangelism Fellowship. Their mailing address is: P.O. Box 3137, Ferndale, WA 98248.
