Gwendolyn Mary Quelch

On Friday November 28, 2014, Gwendolyn Mary Quelch, age 93, of Edmonds, WA passed away at Alderwood Park Convalescent in Bellingham, WA with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was born July 7, 1921 to Doris (nan) and Frederick (pop) Brown in Northampton, England. Gwendolyn married Terrence G. Quelch on December 18, 1943. During World War II she worked at an Aircraft Factory in England. She came to the United States with Terry and her two children Michael and Anthony in 1958 and lived in Temple City, CA. In 1989 she and Terry moved to Edmonds, WA.

 Gwendolyn enjoyed sharing in the company of all her family and always enjoyed a good cup of tea with those she loved.

 Gwendolyn came from a family that included one sister: Faye Cammell (deceased) and husband Gordon Cammell, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and great granddaughter Amber. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and wife Gabi of Bellingham; Anthony and wife Mary of Mukilteo, WA; seven grandchildren, Shauna of Lynnwood, WA, Kimberly and her husband Erik of Novato, CA, Michele and her husband Steve of Bothell, WA, Heather and her husband Ethan of Edmonds, WA, Brett and his wife Barbara of Mukilteo, Jory of Bellingham, and Tamara of Bozeman, MT; seven great grandchildren, Haley, Kendall, Kian, Liam, Rowan, Emma and Timothy.

 A celebration of Gwendolyn’s life will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014, 1:00 PM, at Sig’s Funeral & Cremation Services, at 809 W. Orchard Dr., Bellingham, WA 98225. Family and friends are invited to attend.
