Gayle A. Pattenaude

Gayle A. Pattenaude, age 87, of Bellingham passed away at her home Tuesday, June 13, 2023 surrounded by family and friends who loved her. She was born March 6, 1936 to parents Wilhelm Engel and Irene (Gulbransen) Bredal. She attended Bellingham Public Schools graduating from Bellingham High School. Gayle married Raymond Pattenaude April 1955 in Bellingham. Gayle loved to work with the Public at Ferndale True Value, Lynden Department Store and sold Real Estate for Follis Realty. Her main enjoyment was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond of 64 years and her sister Laurice Reinke. Gayle is survived by her son Bill Pattenaude and his wife Kathi; daughter Nancy Johnson and her husband Jerry; grandchildren, Jeremy and Elisha Johnson, Melissa and Brandon Zylstra, Chris and Chloe Pattenaude and Kelli and Adam Johnson; great grandchildren, Teagan, Madison, Oliver, Josh, Nevaeh, Averi and Keira; brothers, Tim and Rick Jansen and numerous other relatives including nephews Neil and Brad Reinke.  A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July, 28, 2023, 11:30 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale. A Celebration of Life will be July 28, 2023, 12:00 noon at, Boxx Berry Farm, Ferndale, WA. Gayle’s family would like to thank her Aldrich Road family for all their love and support.
