Floyd Kenneth Massey, age 91, of Bellingham was born to Floyd and Jessie Massey on May 26, 1924 and passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Floyd grew up in Everson on his parents' farm. He graduated from Sumas-Nooksack Union High School in 1942. After graduation he worked on the family farm for many years until he started working at The Mt. Baker Plywood Mill. He later worked at Bellingham Cold Storage too. In the early 1960s he met Margaret Aynsley, whom he later married and together they had four children. Floyd enjoyed sports, traveling, reading, movies, playing cards, bicycling, hiking and being with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his brother Ross (Evelyn), sister Catherine Beebe (Lloyd), and brother Henry Massey (Sadie). He is survived by his children, Karol L. Massey, James B. Massey (Connie), Donna L. Revell, and Charles E. Massey (Jodi Chin); grandchildren Erin Johnson, Marcus Johnson, Susan Massey, Carmen Dobroth and LeeAnn Sturrock; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. At his request, there will be no service.
