Esther S. Shannon

Esther S. Shannon, age 70, of Everson passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 in Bellingham, WA. She was born April 22, 1945 in East Liverpool, Ohio to parents William G. and Geraldine (Logan) Grimm.  Esther graduated from East Liverpool High School in the class of 1963 and two days later married the love of her life Reed Shannon. Esther lived a well-rounded, satisfying life. She was delighted by the love of her grandchildren, family, and friends. Esther spent many happy hours building memories camping, and she enjoyed the companionship of her dog, Jackson. Esther was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William T. Grimm. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Reed Shannon; two daughters, Robin and her husband Corey Clausen of Bellingham, Brooke and her husband James Boevers of North Bend, WA; three grandchildren and one due in the fall. She is also survived by numerous relatives. A celebration of her life will be held  at 3:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Riverside Park, 199-281 Park Drive, Everson, WA 98247. Guests are encouraged to join the family in wearing bright colored, casual attire to symbolize the beauty that she brought to the lives of those she touched.
