Donald A. Zimmerman

Donald A. Zimmerman, age 86, of Ferndale, Washington, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at his home. He worked 30 years for Buick before retiring to Hackensack, Minnesota, where he enjoyed the best years of his life - hunting, fishing and growing enormous gardens. 

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Albert; mother, Sophie; and brothers, Robert, John and Jim. 

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Juanita; daughter, Kathleen (Leonard) Kerperien; sons: Kenneth (Mae), Edward (fiancée Jean), Philip (Dee), Anthony (Dawn); 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Doris and Shirley; and brothers, Joseph, Jerome and Gerald. 

A Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hackensack, Minnesota. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, Minnesota and one hour prior to the service at the church
