Donald "Mike" England

There will be a celebration of life for Donald “Mike” England at the Light House Mission Drop- In Center, 910 W. Holly St., Bellingham, 10:00 AM, Thursday May 3, 2012. Mike came to the Light House Mission at the age of 50. It was there that Mike flourished. It wasn’t easy and the steps were small, but Mike, through the Life Transition Center, started wrestling with life and God. He started taking classes at Whatcom Community College, where he worked extremely hard and excelled in his classes. He attended Christ The King Community Church in Bellingham and became involved with the men’s Bible study group and the “Band of Brothers”. Last year with a group of pastors, Mike went on a mission trip to Africa. It was easy to see from both the pictures of Africa and his stories, that he truly enjoyed the time he spent there.
