Dennis Lee Huizenga

Dennis Lee Huizenga, born April 15, 1958, to Albert and Jennie Huizenga. Dennis passed on February 19, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. He grew up in Sumas, WA, and moved to Lynden, WA in 1964, where he attended Lynden Christian Schools. Dennis met Darlene Visser at the Lynden Pool, and he could never catch her. They dated 5 years, were married on June 29,1979. Dennis loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved hunting with his brothers-in-law and camping with family and friends. They had 3 children, Crystal (Bruce) Hippe, Ruby (Austin) Maleng, and Bryan Huizenga. He has 6 grandchildren, Colt, Liam, Tyson, Emma, Aiden, and Layla. Brother to Trudy (Vern) Haveman and Dave (Beverly) Huizenga, and in-laws Carol (Marvin) Weidkamp, Jerry (Vicki) Visser, Rodney (Valerie) Visser, and Richard (Robin) Visser and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was proceeded in death by his father Albert, Mother Jennie, Father-in-law Martin Visser, Mother-in-law Clara Zoet, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. Service to be held at Deming Log Show Grounds in the Museum on February 28, 2025 at 1pm. Light refreshment provided after the service.
