Carolyn Reed Worth

Carolyn was born May 27, 1934 in Pasco, Washington to parents Kenneth and Irene Reed and raised in Walla Walla, Washington.

Carolyn met her future husband, Jerry, during her freshman year at WSC and they married in September of 1955.  After living and raising their family in California and Idaho,they moved to Bellingham in 1990 where she became actively involved with the Evergreen Quilters and was one of the founding members of the Bellingham Newcomers.  Among her passions were gardening, travel and dining out.  She was preceded in death by her brother Gail Reed and is survived by her husband of 59 years Jerry; daughter, Kathleen and her husband Richard Youngworth of Boise, Idaho; sons, Greg Worth and his wife Cindy of San Jose, California and Steve Worth and his wife Sue of Pleasanton, California; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

There will be no public services but the family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Emeritus, Highgate, St. Francis and Hospice for their care and support.
