Carol Lynn Quinn was born in Weiser, Idaho on May 3, 1938 and died in Bellingham, Washington on February 6, 2025. Carol lived most of her adult life in Burlingame, California with husband Patrick Quinn an Attorney in San Francisco. Both loved to play golf at Pebble Beach, entertain friends, and travel the world. Together they lived a marvelous life until Pat passed away from a congenital heart defect. Shortly thereafter, Carol moved to Bellingham, WA to be closer to her son and daughter from her 1st marriage to corporate business manager Howard Alexander and resume her career in commercial Real Estate.
Carol was a “go-getter” who participated in many charity and community service activities. But most of all Carol was a loving grandmother, devoted friend, and a young soul whose amazing energy and sense of humor inspired all who knew her.
And although dementia took its toll, Carol’s tenacity for life and her spirit remained strong.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and loving daughter Rhonda Alexander Borissenko and grandson Ricky Alexander. She is survived by her son Rick Alexander, son-in-law Gene Borissenko, grandsons Ryan Alexander and Nic Borissenko, granddaughter Anastasia Borissenko, great-grandson Tyson Kelly-Alexander and many dear friends, all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
A private service will be held in Colma, California where Carol will be laid to rest with her husband Patrick Daniel Quinn at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Carol’s unwavering love of "Jesus Christ" will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the (CDR) Center for Dementia Research. Thank-you!
