Carnell Mitchell Jr. beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend, age 48, of Bellingham WA died March of 2021. Born January 17, 1973 in Gary Indiana Carnell Mitchell Jr. to his parents Nancy Powell and Carnell Mitchell Sr. He grew up there with his family and younger brother Corey Mitchell before moving to Bellingham, WA in 1986. Carnell married twice and had two beautiful children, from those marriages. Olivia Celeste Rick, 30 and Carnell Mitchell lll, 18. He loved his children and was so proud of everything they did. He was so smart, with a love of all things electronic, he worked previously with cell phone companies and on cars. Carnell loved movies, music, having fun, and eating wings and popcorn. He had a personality that shined brighter than anyone else in the room. An amazing sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Carnell loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Carnell Mitchell Sr. and is survived by his son CJ and daughter Olivia and her husband Kai Rick; grandchildren Madison, Mason, Hudson and Griffin; brother Corey Mitchell and sister In-law Vannessa Goodrich; parents Nancy and Charlie Powell; nieces Brittanni, Breanne, nephew Caydell and numerous other relatives. We love you Squally, and we take pride knowing one day we will see you again. A celebration of life openhouse will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 Harbor Loop Dr., Bellingham, WA 98225 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
