Bonita Ann Lloyd, age 76, of Mount Vernon was born July 23, 1947 and passed away with her family at her side, Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Bonnie was born in territory of Alaska, Anchorage Alaska. She was the first born to Lois and Bill Lloyd and the first child to be brought home to the homestead. She was the first of 3 children, Susan Lee was the next girl followed by Evan (Skip) Roy who were brought to the homestead of over 500 acres, that the family had set claim to.
Bill and Lois moved to Everett, WA where their youngest daughter was born, Pamela Stradford who married Larry.
Bonita has left behind her nephews and niece who love her completely. Keith Lively, Kris Schuhow, Stacie Sabourin, Jeff Lloyd and 2 nephews proceeded her in death, Curt Lively, Brandon Schuhow, her sister Susan Lively and her parents.
Bonita graduated from Cascade High School in Everett, WA with the class of 1966. She worked for First Interstate Bank in Tukwila for 27 years. She lived in Seattle, WA moved to Portland Oregon while continuing to work for the Bank throughout many changes in the Bank’s ownership. Bonita left the Banking industry moving to Skagit County. She started working for Skagit Business Services where she worked for 24 years at the Shell Oil Refinery in Anacortes, WA. Where she retired on July 23, 2019.
Bonita was always the one to confide in she never repeated anything, she was always a great listener never judging, always listening, rarely had an opinion, but when she did you listened. A celebration of her life will be July 20, 2024 more information will be announced.
