Bethel Evelyn Brumbelow

Bethel Evelyn Brumbelow, age 89, of Bellingham, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home. She was born September 1, 1922 in Bellingham to Rufus and Maude (Griffith) Green.

A lifetime resident of Whatcom County, graduated from Bellingham High School, owned and operated the Cone Ice Creamery and also was employed at Sears and Roebuck Company for over 36 years where she met and married the love of her life, Charles J. Brumbelow also employed at Sears from Malvern, Arkansas. Bethel was a member of Immanuel Bible Church of Bellingham where she served her Lord and Saviour with her many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Charles, October 24, 1962, brothers, Buford and Allan Green. Bethel is survived by her son, Kirk B. Brumbelow and his wife and her caregiver Shelley; grandsons, Cortlandt and Hunter Brumbelow; granddaughter, Haley Kallmyer; nephew, Robert Green and nieces Bethel Green and Carolyn Smart.
