Bernie (affectionately known as "Boppa" to grandchildren and great-grandchildren) went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Muscutt, children Mitch (Greta) Muscutt, Tracy (Tom) Rhone, and Tammy (Terry) Wilcox. His grandchildren are Terry (Mandi) Muscutt, Lyndsay (Andy) Helkey, Tarell (Seth) Allen, Travis Rhone, Tiffany (Adam) York, Tessa (Ryan) Ebbesen, Brandon (Melissa) Wilcox, Austin Wilcox, Zackary Wilcox and Remington Wilcox. Great-grandchildren are Kascia and Lauren Muscutt, Jainah Helkey, Sadie and Kylee Allen, Ty and Avery York, Walker Ebbesen and Kelton Wilcox. Bernie's sense of humor, creativity and love of adventure will be fondly remembered by friends and family. A private family service is pending. Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice House.
