Annette Lee Kraft

April 16, 1969 — June 15, 2024

Annette Lee Kraft, née Mostrom, 55, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 at her home in Ferndale, Washington surrounded by those she loved.

Annette was born in Arlington, Washington on April 19, 1969 to Janice and Dean Mostrom. Growing up in Ferndale, she graduated from Ferndale High School in 1987, and later returned to raise her family. Annette was married to Kurt Kraft in July 2000, and they were married for 24 years. She was a loved community member, friend, mom, daughter, and sister.

Annette felt privileged to explore so many of her passions throughout her life. She excelled in her career, ran her own catering business, always found room for music, and was a proud mother. During her life, she served at a number of community organizations including the Ferndale Community Meal, the Ugandan Children’s Choir, and on the Board of the Mother Baby Center. She was passionate about cooking, music, hosting, sass, and spending time with her family. She found joy in investing in her community and was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her brother Dean Jr. and is survived by her parents, brother Dale, husband Kurt, and four daughters: Kaitlinn, Sydni, Mattie and Lillian.

It was her wish that in lieu of flowers or other gifts, donations be made in her honor to the Hospice House in Bellingham, WA. A private remembrance was held for the family.
